Mention Me is a London based startup company, delivering referral marketing programs for global brands. We’ve been around just over 3 years and we already work with over 100 exciting businesses such as Missguided, Farfetch, Laithwaites and Karen Millen.
With ambitious growth targets, we need to raise awareness of the advantages of referrals as a marketing channel, and the Mention Me platform as the solution. This is where you come in.
About You
You are a passionate PR professional who thrives on developing relationships with journalists and influencers to build brand awareness. You might already have a network of contacts in the retail and marketing world - that would be a great advantage.
You’ll be working alongside the Marketing Manager to develop the PR and content strategy.
You’ll love writing. So generating content ideas and writing press releases will be second nature.
You’ll keep a close eye on media and industry news for any breaking stories and hijacking opportunities.
Awards and events form a crucial role in building our brand awareness and generating new leads, so you’ll also play a part in event planning and delivery.
You are looking for a part-time PR role where you can utilise your expertise in a flexible working environment.
Experience and Skills Required
- A passionate PR Professional, with at least 4 years’ experience working within PR, either in-house or agency side.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Must be well organized and able to prioritise workload
- Experience of measuring and reporting on PR campaigns
- Willingness to work in a startup with a hands-on approach
- A network of media contacts would be advantageous.

Location
We are opposite Oval tube station, London. It's an awesome little office with a tropical roof garden which we're making our own. Come help us decorate!
